What does Unum's Essential Ability Cover Plan provide?

Essential Ability Cover provides a regular monthly benefit to individuals if they suffer illness or injury and cannot do a number of basic daily activities.

• You will receive a monthly replacement income for as long as you satisfy the Abilities Test. 
• Individuals are able to choose how soon benefit payments will start and can continue right up until normal retirement age. Throughout this time, the monthly benefit payments will help individuals and their dependants maintain their established lifestyle.
