  Unum's Pay Direct offering includes:

• A choice over how long income benefit is paid, from a limited 2, 3 or 5-year period up to a maximum Terminal Age of 70
• Choice of incapacity definitions
• Help encouraging employees to return to work through our Vocational Rehabilitation services. Whenever possible, our expert medical and rehabilitation teams will work alongside employers and employees
• Continued income benefits for those who cannot work due to illness or injury, regardless of whether they remain on the payroll
