Unum, the UK’s leading disability insurer, has been named Group Income Protection (GIP) provider of the year at the 2008 Cover Excellence Awards, held in London.
Dave Kay, Commercial Product Manager at Unum, collected the award and commented:
We’re really delighted to have won this award. It is a fantastic endorsement of the work that has been carried out by everyone at Unum. We’ve worked hard to continue innovating over the past year with new launches such as Dual GIP and implementing our new underwriting procedures. This has ensured that we maintain our position as the leading provider of income protection in the UK.
