UnumProvident appoints two new Directors

UnumProvident, the UK's leading disability insurer, has announced the appointment of two new directors to bolster its Management Services (IT) and Customer Services Divisions. Phil Evans has recently joined UnumProvident as its new Director of Management Services, and Paul Restall will be joining as Director of Customer Services in mid-August. Both of them arrive from Norwich Union Life.

Phil Evans will be based at UnumProvident's Bristol offices where he will also assume the role of 'site head', providing a focal point for Bristol-specific issues. At Norwich Union Life, Phil was Head of IT and was responsible for Systems Development and Service Delivery. He brings to UnumProvident more than 22 years' experience as an IT professional, with a proven track record of running complex change programmes and IT operations.

Paul Restall

Paul Restall will join the company as Director of Customer Services and will undertake a similar 'site head' role to Phil - but based at UnumProvident House - the major new Basingstoke office which opened this week - replacing two smaller offices currently within the town. Paul brings with him 25 years' experience in the life and pensions industry and has extensive experience of leading customer service operations to deliver quality customer service.
