UnumProvident, the UK's leading disability insurer, has appointed Kevin Bounds to the role of Non-Executive Director.
Kevin brings with him a wealth of experience in the financial services arena, with substantial experience of retail financial services, both within the UK and overseas.
At UnumProvident, he will be responsible for providing an independent perspective to, and oversight of, the Executive management of the company and will be a member of the company's board.
Previously, Kevin worked as UK Director for KPMG, where he was responsible for financial management consultancy in retail financial services. Kevin has worked in the role of Chief Finance Officer for two UK insurance companies and has worked for NatWest, as Group Financial Controller, and for JP Morgan where he had a variety of roles including the establishment of its international equities business.
Kevin is co-author of the ICAEW's Best Practice Guideline on Balanced Business Scorecard and was a member of the Faculty of Finance and Management's executive committee. In addition, Kevin has gained substantial change management experience in both consultancy and line roles.
