From 11 April 2007 the UK’s largest group income protection insurer, UnumProvident, will be known as Unum. This rebranding is part of a larger initiative which also incorporates the renaming of our parent company UnumProvident Corporation in the USA, to Unum Group.
The decision to rebrand was taken following the growth and progress made by the companies in the Unum Group over recent years.
The new branding will be phased in during the course of 2007, starting with all pre-printed regulatory and contractual communications, followed by the launch of a new website design, and all other materials and communications.
In the UK, the rebrand applies to our trading name only. The insuring entity remains Unum Limited.
The rebrand does not affect your legal and statutory rights. All contracts and terms remain with Unum Limited.
